A castle that is already alive

Castillo del Sol is not an idea on paper. It is a place where life already happens: mornings open with the ocean and the jungle, afternoons turn into ceremony, study and craft, and evenings gather everyone around the fire.

It is home to the Sun Tribe, a conscious community living together as a single body, and a house where guests are welcomed as family rather than processed as visitors.

The Sacred Spiral

The Magic Spiral was laid stone by stone in January 2025 by members of the Sun Tribe together with participants of the Damanhur community, as part of the Arinnitti Foundation's mission.

You enter it with a question, walk it in silence, and pause at the central stone. Every Thursday the community gathers there at sunset for meditation and shared intention.

Points of interest

An amethyst cave holds the ritual of Sacred Exchange — leave an object of intention, take a piece of someone else's dream. A Paiste 38" Earth Gong tuned to 136 Hz and 432 Hz carries sound baths beneath the canopy.

Stained-glass mandalas — the Gate of Awakening, the Flower of Joy, the Mother Earth — turn the light of the day into colour, and a glass podcast studio hangs above the rainforest with the Pacific sunset as its only backdrop.

How CR Experience arranges it

We arrange private visits by appointment: transfers from San José or the coast, a guided walk of the castle and the spiral, time at the gong or the cave, and a meeting with the founder when the calendar allows.

A castle day sits naturally inside a longer Costa Rica journey — coast, volcano and rainforest before or after, with the same team looking after every detail.

Castillo del Sol

Castillo del Sol — FAQ

Can Castillo del Sol be visited privately?

Yes. Public visits run on a limited calendar, but private visits and private events are arranged by appointment. CR Experience books the date, the transfer and the guide for you.

What is the Sacred Spiral at Castillo del Sol?

A hand-laid stone spiral built in January 2025 on the castle grounds. Guests walk it in silence with an intention and pause at the central stone; the community gathers there every Thursday at sunset.

How long does a visit take?

Plan three to four hours for the castle, the spiral and the points of interest, or a full day if you add a sound bath and a meal with the community.
